Welcome to the blog. This blog is explicitly dedicated to exploring the traits of the Fat Lady in the portrait at Hogwarts and how she, through those traits, can help us become better people. How we can handle technology and how we can be kind to those around us who may look and sometimes act differently.
More than just a case study, this blog actually will look into how her persona and traits can guide us in the real world.
Just to clarify, the Fat Lady is a fictional character in the Harry Potter series. The series is a coming-of-age story of a young man who finds out he has unique abilities and also how he grows from being a bullied boy into a man who is both resilient and courageous.
The books, all seven, feature the Fat Lady, but she is a minor character in them. With one notable point in the series where she is more prominent. This blog is not about the books nor the character of Harry and his friends. It's about a unique portrait that bears an image of a real person. They are semi-sentient and unique.
In many ways she influences the behavior of the students at Hogwarts. And we can actually bring that into the real world; that is what this blog is intended to do. This blog is non-fiction in scope and is not intended to be in any way linked to the story of the characters; it is a real-world look at what the fictional character teaches us. So while there will be references to the books and the Fat Lady, it should be understood that this is a study of the traits exhibited by them and how it works in our world.
The first official post is coming soon, but if you want to see an article already written about her,
